Brice and I are still here trucking along trying to get things right. So much has happened since I wrote my last blog. I lost my Mom in October, then on a happier note we met Lucy and Ryan (from Lucy's Lunacy) for a long weekend in December, followed by the Holidays and so on. A post on our trip with Lucy and Ryan is in the works, and also 'Where We are Now....a Year Into DD'. Better late than never right?
Last weekend Es May, from Submitting to be Led, declared HoH Day. A day to pay tribute to our husbands for all they do for us. Well I thought this was a great idea, and ours went something like this...
Last Saturday morning in bed.....
You know Brice, today is HoH Day, a day for me to let you know how much I appreciate ALL you do for me. (insert big smile here) And to show my appreciation I am going to give you the entire day off. :)
OH NO Betsy....that's okay, I don't need a day off.
But no Brice, I insist, you go to work everyday and do so much to take care of your family. I really think you need a break! So in honor of HoH Day I will fill in for you as HoH :)
(monotone) It's not happening Betsy.
This is about the time I started barking out orders in my best HoH voice. Brice chuckled, but that was about it. I however, was very amused and entertained myself several times that day bossing around my loving husband while he basically ignored me.
Later that night in bed....
Brice, you suck as a Sub.
I think I saw a little grin, but he didn't say a word as he demonstrated who was in control and who was not. ;)
That Brice is really NO fun....and he has about as good of a sense of humor as Ryan ;) These men don't appreciate how funny we really are.
